1. Agreement to terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and Souad MARIP, operator of DID: Decor Interior Design (decorinteriordesign.com) ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using the website and any calculator, tool, or content on it (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. The Service

The Service provides free, informational interior-design calculators and related content. The tools generate estimates and recommendations based on the values you enter and published design guidelines. They are provided for general informational and planning purposes only.

3. Not professional advice

Our tools are not a substitute for professional advice from a licensed interior designer, architect, electrician, contractor, or other qualified professional. Building codes, structural conditions, electrical requirements and site-specific factors vary. Before making purchasing, construction, or installation decisions, verify measurements yourself and consult a qualified professional. You are solely responsible for how you use the outputs of our tools.

4. Acceptable use of our tools

You agree that you will not:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms;
  • Attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure;
  • Systematically scrape, harvest, or copy content or tool logic except as permitted by "fair use" below;
  • Reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the tools as your own product or service; or
  • Remove or obscure any proprietary notices.

Fair use. You are welcome to use the calculators for your personal, educational, or professional projects, and to reference or link to our pages. What you may not do is copy the underlying tool code, content, or design wholesale to republish a competing service.

5. Intellectual property rights

The Service - including its text, calculator logic, layouts, graphics, wordmark, and design system - is owned by Souad MARIP and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws. Except for the limited fair-use rights above, no license or right is granted to you. The design rules and standards the tools implement (for example, the 30-inch clearance guideline, the 57-inch hanging line, or SMPTE/THX viewing angles) are industry knowledge and are not claimed as our property; our expression, implementation, and presentation of them are.

6. Results are estimates ("as is")

The Service and all results are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that results will be error-free, complete, or suitable for your specific circumstances.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Souad MARIP and the Service will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, materials, time, or data, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Service or reliance on its results - even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.

8. Third-party links and advertising

The Service may contain links to third-party websites and may display advertising served by Google and other partners. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, products, or privacy practices. Advertising is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Souad MARIP and the Service from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your misuse of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

10. Changes to the Service and Terms

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, and we may update these Terms. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. The "Last updated" date reflects the current version.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York and applicable United States federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be handled in the courts located in New York.
